Find the audio option, save the file, and locate it on iPhone, Android or desktop without installing another app.

Save TikTok Audio on Your Phone or Computer: A Vrootok Walkthrough

Start with the post, not a sound search

Open the public TikTok post whose audio you want to keep. Use Share and Copy link, then open Vrootok in your browser. A link to an individual post is more useful than a creator profile or a search results page because it identifies the exact recording. Check that you are allowed to download and use it before continuing.

Choose Audio before saving

Select the Audio tab and paste the link. Read the result labels carefully: an audio-only option is different from an MP4 video. Availability can vary by post. If the tool cannot offer an audio file, do not assume that renaming a video from .mp4 to .mp3 will convert it; extensions describe files, they do not change their contents.

Where the download goes

On iPhone, check the browser download menu and the Files app. On Android, check Downloads in your file manager. Desktop browsers usually show the destination in their downloads list. An audio file will not necessarily appear in your photo gallery. Open the file in an audio player to check that the recording is complete.

Keep quality expectations realistic

An extracted track cannot contain more detail than its source. A larger bitrate label does not restore information already lost during compression. Listen for clipping, missing sections and unwanted background sound before using the recording in a project. If you need a pristine music master, use an authorised source rather than a social-media upload.

If the result is missing

Re-copy the original post link, check that it still opens on TikTok, and try again once. A deleted, restricted or private post may not be available. Save files with a descriptive name so you can find them later. Downloading a track does not grant permission to reuse music, voices or recordings commercially.
