About Vrootok

Vrootok is a one-page utility with one job: take a public TikTok link and give you back the file behind it, without a watermark burned across the frame and without asking you to install anything.

Why it exists

TikTok's own save button works, but it re-encodes the clip and stamps a moving username over it. That is fine if you are saving something for yourself and never looking at it again. It is useless if you are editing, archiving, or putting the clip anywhere outside the app.

Every alternative we tried wanted an account, a download quota, a desktop installer, or a browser extension with permissions it had no business requesting. So we built the small version: a text field and a button.

How it is paid for

Advertising, and nothing else. There is no premium plan, no download counter, and no data being sold on the side. If the ads ever get in the way of the tool working, the ads are the thing that is wrong, and you are welcome to say so on the contact page.

What it is not

Vrootok is independent. It is not made by, licensed by, or affiliated with TikTok, Douyin, or ByteDance Ltd. It does not hold any rights to the content it helps you save, and it does not host that content — files pass through and are gone.

It also cannot reach private accounts, deleted posts, or region-locked uploads. If the post is not publicly visible, there is nothing for the tool to fetch.
